Send the enclosure volume, equipment layout, ventilation and occupancy details for review. Ask for the product approval, design calculation, installation manual and maintenance instructions. Service life and warranty must be confirmed for the supplied model and contractual terms; they are not interchangeable.
Enclosure and System Requirements
A condensed aerosol generator releases an extinguishing medium containing fine solid particles and gaseous matter. Selection requires an assessment of the enclosure, openings, ventilation, contents and occupancy. The product manual defines discharge clearances, exposure precautions, activation and post-discharge procedures. It is not a maintenance-free or universally harmless system, and residue-sensitive equipment needs a compatibility review.
Maintenance, replacement intervals and discharge procedures follow the selected product instructions.
