Fixed Smoke or Fire Curtain:
As the name suggests, it is a type of fire or smoke curtain without an engine, which is kept tense with stainless steel ropes at the bottom, which is fixed. It must be in EN 12101-1 or EN 1634-1 standard and class 13501-2. It should also withstand 600 or 1100 degrees.
Design
It protects the structure from fire within the specified time interval by blocking the flame and smoke. It is produced from silicone-coated silicate or steel wire textile fabric material on both sides. It is a system that prevents fire passage and is used to prevent it from passing to the other area. Its most important advantage is that it dampens flammable gases.
Thanks to its special fabric, a fixed smoke curtain or fixed fire curtain can hold high heat for 120 and 240 minutes. It also reduces possible damage to the control of the area and a successful evacuation.
Note: It cannot be integrated into the existing fire detection system. They are a fixed system without an engine and control panel. Therefore, since it is fixed, electrical pans, ventilation ducts and pipes can pass through the system.
