Fire Curtain EW240

EW240 combines integrity with a radiation criterion for the documented fire-curtain configuration.
Use EW where the fire strategy calls for that performance, and check whether the adjacent use imposes a separate insulation requirement. Compare the requested opening and fixing substrate with the report before treating an EW240 model as suitable.
Design
EW performance concerns integrity and the radiation criterion; it does not establish the insulation performance of an EI classification. Read the classification report for the assembly, permitted dimensions, supports and exposure conditions. The alarm, drive and feedback arrangement should match the approved project sequence. Smoke leakage and gas-tightness must not be inferred from EW alone.
Backup-power capacity and power-loss response are confirmed for the selected controls and project sequence.

Box
Made of galvanized steel sheet with 1.5 mm thickness. The box has a lid on both sides. Box dimensions depend on the size of the opening being closed.
Guides
Side guides are designed for loaded fabric. Made from galvanized sheet steel. Main profile thickness is 2mm, housing thickness is 1.5mm.
Installation
Box: can be installed on the inside of the wall, on the surface of the wall, in the counterceiling, and on the ceiling
with rod hangers.
