EI60
An EI60 fire curtain is selected for a documented 60-minute integrity and insulation classification.
Check whether the project requires EI and for what duration before comparing it with E or EW products. Include the neighbouring use and the fixing detail in the enquiry. Matching the class name is only the first step in checking the proposed installation.
Fire safety level
The insulation criterion limits temperature rise under the relevant test conditions. It should not be described as converting one fixed furnace temperature into a guaranteed safe surface temperature. The classification belongs to the complete tested or assessed assembly, including fabric, guides, headbox and supports. Confirm the required orientation and dimensions, and specify controls against the building fire strategy.
Backup-power capacity and power-loss response are confirmed for the selected controls and project sequence.

Fabric
Fabric material: Firetex 60, 4760 g/m2
Box
Made of galvanized steel sheet with 1.5 mm thickness. The box has a lid on both sides. Box dimensions depend on the size of the opening being closed.
Guides
Side guides are designed for loaded fabric. Made from galvanized sheet steel. Main profile thickness is 2mm, housing thickness is 1.5mm.
Installation
Box: can be installed on the inside of the wall, on the surface of the wall, in the counterceiling, and on the ceiling with rod hangers.
Side guides: can be installed on the inside of the wall, on the surface of the wall
Color
Сan be selected from the RAL chart or can be galvanized.
