Rolling Fire Gate

Rolling Fire Gate

A rolling fire gate stores its leaf above the opening and closes down through side guides.

Measure headroom after allowing for beams, ducts and lighting. State normal operating frequency as well as the alarm duty. Identify which contractor provides power and control wiring so the installation can be commissioned as a complete assembly.

Operating Principle

The motor, controls and end-position devices form part of the specified arrangement. Headroom must accommodate the roll, drive and maintenance access, while the guides need suitable support at both sides. Record the required supply and behaviour on loss of mains power. Motor voltage, cycle rating and emergency operation must be taken from the selected model documentation.

Backup-power capacity and power-loss response are confirmed for the selected controls and project sequence.

What are the Uses?

Used for industrial and commercial openings where a rolling leaf and its required headroom fit the approved fire strategy.
